What is your refund policy?
The short answer is...Sorry, No Refunds. Please click Here to view our Refund Policy.
What computer requirements are needed to view and use ePublications?
A minimum of 256 colors is required but 16 bit color is recommended for optimum viewing and is what the majority of people are now using. Other than that your computer should do just fine. However, if the file size of your ePublication is relatively large and is used on an older, slower computer, you could experience slow page turning.

What is the difference between the DNL and EXE ePublication formats
For a detailed comparison Click Here
Can I change the file name of my ePublication?
Yes. It is best if you make a copy of the original un-edited ePublication and re-name the copy so that you still have the original for backup if you need it. When re-naming the copy be sure that you don't change or delete the file extension, eg; .dnl, as doing so will prevent the re-named ePublication from opening.
When I view an ePublication in the EXE format, does anything get installed on my computer?
Absolutely not! ePublications in the exe format are stand-alone products and install nothing on the users computer.
When I view an ePublication, why do the pages turn slowly?
Usually this happens if you are viewing the ePublication on an older computer with minimal processing power. It may also be a problem when viewing a larger ePublication that fills your screen. Make sure that the ePublication is the only program running on your computer and try changing the turn mode of the pages via the right-click user menu within the ePublication.
Do you have a printed User Manual?
No we don't. You may download our user guide in either the DNL or EXE format Here. If you prefer, our User Resources pages have a link to a printable page on them for your convienence.
Why are some ePublications a larger file size than other?
The file size is determined by the design and contents of the ePublication. Simple designs will have a smaller file size than a more elaborately designed one.
Can I print an ePublication?
Yes you can, but only if, the print option was not disabled at the time the ePublication was developed. To view information about printing ePublications and their printing options Click Here
What is the menu that appears when I right click on a page in an ePublication?
The right-click user menu contains options such as turning the background on and off, changing the turn mode of the pages, printing, etc. Changes that you make via this user menu are only temporary and will revert back to the orginal settings the next time you open your ePublication. Click Here to read more about the right-click user menu.
What is the difference between an editable and non-editable ePublication?
An editable ePublication allows you to insert your own text and images. A non-editable ePublication can only be viewed and read.
Can ePublications be used on an Apple Mac computer?
Unfortunately, not at this time. Until a Mac compatible reader becomes available for ePublications, non-editable ePublications can be used on an Apple Mac via a PC emulator such as Virtual PC.
Can I turn the background color off on my ePublication?
Yes. The background color is just there to hide the noise of your desktop screen. You may toggle the background on and off anytime you wish by clicking on the background icon on the button bar at the bottom of your ePublication.
What do all the buttons on the bottom of ePublications do?
These are user navigation buttons. Depending on the buttons included in your ePublication they may send an email, print, or search to name a few. For a complete list of buttons that you may see and their function Click Here
What is the little hand that appears when my mouse moves over an image?
The little hand indicates that there is a larger version of the image that you can view by left clicking on the image. To close the larger image just click on the red X at the top of the image box. Clicking where you see the little hand may also reveal a text message instead of an image.
Are ePublications safe?
Absolutely! Our ePublications are read-only files and cannot be attached by virus, spyware, malware, trojans, or the like. We guarantee any ePublications from Southpaw Kreative Inc. to be completely clean and safe.
Can I get my ePublication on a CD instead of downloading it?
Yes. Of course there will be an added charge to cover the cost of the copying and printing of the CD. Just indicate that you would like your ePublication on an auto-run CD when you add it to your cart.
